Drug dealers
The Drug industry is major money making industry. It is real major problem, the world faces to try and combat this problem. As long as there is a demand, there will always be someone willing take the risk of supplying and selling drugs.
I understand, however why and how people sell drugs. Tax free money is the best money, because as people we go to work day in and day out. After taxation, working class families are left feeling upset and no real better off after all the household builds have been paid.
Higher earners, earn above a certain wage then the tax goes into the next tax bracket 40% I think this is. When this is weighed up practically, a person studies hard, gets a well paid job, then almost half their wage is taxed. The fact the goverment waste the tax payers money makes it even worse. So it understandable why people sell drugs.
why work for £5 an hour, when you can easily earn £10 in 10 minutes?

"You have made some very honest points, in my opinion. The drug industry is a major money making industry, but then why would it not be. Like Lee clearly stated, where there is a high demand there is always money to be made. However I would like to note, that drug dealing shouldn’t be promoted nor should it be criticised. Why should we allow such service to be conduced with society, when we should really be helping those people and not encouraging it? If drug dealing stopped on the streets, then maybe addicts would more likely go about seeking help. It’s true that drug dealing pays well, but let’s be honest if u add up the amount of hours you have to stay on the streets to get that £10, you might as well have a job; and those who make a lot on a daily basis crnt exactly do anything constructive with it. In my opinion, it’s not worth it; you either end up behind bars, looking over your shoulder the rest of your life or unfortunately on your own supply. The majority of people in my area are dealers and mainly because they want to work for themselves or someone they respect and look up to. However drug dealers are not bad people, there just out for making money like everyone else, by a different means…."
The reponse
In favour of drug dealing, if you were to add up the time you spend on street the profit justifies the time spent. When you sell drugs your on call, so its not like you have to do a solid 8 hours shift. So does it make sense to get a job?
But I agree with what your saying, the drug dealer can not do anything constructive with the money, but if your smart and have legit people around you ,constructive things can come out of drug money.

Paeodophilia / Rape
Paedophilia to me is one of the worst crime to commit, alongside rape.
Why do people commit these indecent acts of crime?
The fact that people could and would harm young innocent children is sickening.
The British justice systems does not help either.
Punishment favours the villain, rather than the victim. Two years in jail does not fit the crime, these crimes should warrant 15 years in prison, or even life. These people who commit these crimes have no place in society, the longer they are in prison the better.

I totally agree with you, they should be hanged. People that commit these crimes do not deserve the pleasures of jail.

Abortion
Is abortion right?
Personally I believe abortion is wrong and cruel, the images above clearly shows signs of a humanbeing, being formed. On the first image you can clearly see a rib cage forming and on the second image eyes are beginning to be formed.
What gives you as a human being, the right to take away the beginning of a life?

Government
The Government in my eyes, are suitable for a topic in being bad. My personal opinion is that all political parties in the government are corrupt.
-The war in Iraq for example. Did the UK and USA have valid reason to go to war? Whilst in war and soldiers are killed. The families are left with heartache, and no real answers to why the war actually took place and what cause their son or daughter has died for.
-Taxes, the government propose to rise taxes yet again but really and truelly what are they doing with the money. They have wasted money on projects such as the Millenium Dome, the over spend on the up coming Olympics. Yet we have people starvin on the streets.
-Petition against road tax. An article from the daily mail states, "Yet one Minister has dismissed the petition as 'nonsense', while Downing Street said the Prime Minister had no intention of abandoning plans to tax drivers by the mile." Why conduct a official peptition, if the government have no intentions of taking on board the views of the people?
The Government are being bad, and they are corrupt.

Smacking children
If children are naughty, then they deserve to get smacked. However smacking is not always the answer to every problem, and excessive smacking can lead to child abuse.
As a child I was smacked and it never done me no harm, and If some day I should have children they will be smacked too if they misbehave to bad.
All these foolish supernanny progammes, trying to tell you how to deal with naughty children. Sometimes some of there methods are good for the development of the child, but sometimes a good beating is what the child needs.
No policy or no government can tell me either not to smack my child, as me and the government never made no child together.

If the new smacking law is anything to go by, at some stage in my life I will end up in jail. lol Please see link.

Prostitution
1) Is it prostitution to take money from someone who is expecting sex, but then not supply it?
In my opinion it is not prostitution, this can not be prostitution as no sex has actually taken place. This is a crime of deceit/theft, more than prostitution.
People who prostitute shows lack of self respect for themselves. Why self your self for money, is it really worth it? Get a job and have some pride. Those man who support these prostitutes, need to stop it. If there was no demand, then there could not be a service. Imagine your daughter was a prostitute?

Gang culture and the youths today.
The gang culture is a frightening aspect of modern day society, and one aspect that I do not believe it will be successfully abolished for now. So who and what are to blame for this problem of, black on black gang/gun crime?
http://news.bbc.co.uk/hi/english/static/in_depth/uk/2002/race/the_hidden_victims.stm
Is absent fathers to blame? Is it young parents? Or is it the system?
I believe all of the above could be contributing factors, to the youth that are lead astray along side many more factors. However the media does not help either, as guns are often glamorised.

Binge Drinking
Alcohol is a major issue within this modern day society, we are living in. Every week, thousands of people go out to there local hotspots in their town with the intention of getting drunk.
Why do people get this drunk?
Alcohol is just as bad as an illegal drug, if you ask me. Yet the government will not ban it as the revenue from taxes is too great for them to sanction a ban.
Alcohol cost lives, this is a fact and cost the NHS billions in alcohol related illness and one off incidents.

I totally agree with Tarshana, alcohol is the biggest problem in Britain. Teenagers born into a family that regulary consume alcohol, do not stand much of a chance breaking this social trend.
I'm not saying people should totally stop drinking alcohol, but they need to be more wise. Youths should be educated in school earlier about the pit falls of drinking alcohol.

One night stands
I agree with jay-being-bad, everybody loves a one night stand providing there are no consequences. Really, I believe one night stands should be holiday trend, when you start having one night stands in your own town, becomes abit bate (Dangerous).
Think carefully though people, before you have a one night stand. If it goes wrong and you get an STI, baby or your relationships breakdowns, was the sex really worth it?
nine times out of ten, the answer will be no it was not worth it.
"Don't be silly put a rubber on your willy geeza's".
Response to - http://miss-j-woodstock.blogspot.com/
Obviously knowing the person would be more ideal if your about to sleep with them, but no strings attached adds an extra dimension to the experience.
Have you ever had a one night stand?
I do not particulary agree with your comment about one night stands are down to large amounts of alcohol, as alcohol in extreme amounts can crash a man leaving him limp. lol
Yes miss woodstock, we know condoms are not 100% safe, but better you take this precaution than nothing at all. Any come backs then you have to deal with issue after, if the problem can be dealt with.
Telling lies with integrity
Telling lies in any circumstance is not an ideal scenario, but when we talk about integrity this makes telling lies appear more acceptable and justified.
I do not believe there is anyone on the face of this earth, who has not told a lie whether for integrity or not.
Whats lies have you told?
Parents who tell lies to their children, about father christmas and the tooth fairy. Whats the problem there? To me there is none, as far as I'm concerned father christmas etc, is a part of life until grow up and learn for yourself.
Whats your views on these white lines?

Racism
Racism, were in 2007 and racism is still about. Its ridiculous, I dont think racism will ever go, because there will always be some idiotic parents who pass their racist values on to their children.
I believe children are not born racist, it is learnt behaviour or attitude.
Is Jade Goody a racist?
In my eyes, deep down inside I do not believe she is a racist at heart. However the behaviour she displayed in the big brother house is questionable though, and I can see why people may believe she is a racist.
Is the world racist?

Gambling
Is gambling being bad?
A response to -Subconsious Mind http://subconcsious.blogspot.com/2007/04/gambling-mugs-game.html
What is the point to wasting time and money gambling Subconsious Mind asks, but gambling can be a fun social pastime. In a different light, its like saying whats the point in going to the pub because you waste time and money in the pub. Am I wrong?
The problem with gambling arises when those who can not afford to gamble, lose control and begin to chase their money. The majority of the time when you chase your money, you'll continue to lose, I can confirm this from my own experience. lol
However, in favour of gambling while your race is on, machine is ringing out or roulette is spinning the feeling in the bottom of your stomach is a nice one.

Tattoos and body piercing
Body modification is not really a topic I would class as being bad. In this modern day society I believe the vast of people have modified at least one piece of their body. I have an ear piercing which I've had for ears, but I remember when I first had it done my nan was not a happy person. My nan is from the old school obviously, and she possesses Christian values. My nan was like" A wha di backside u guh bore up ya ear dem?", I'll translate that into english for the people who do not understand, "Why the hell did you go and put an earing in your ear for".
I have considered having a tattoo, but do not want to mark my body with some foolish pattern then later on in life be regreting it. I think If I'm to have a tattoo, it's will have to be a sentimental tattoo.
Whats your feelings on body modification?
Have you got any modifications?

Religion
Can people really be too religious?
I personally do not believe so, at the end of the day people have there faiths and beliefs. Which should be respected, where people may appear to be to religious is when they they try and stop you and talk you into there religion.
The majority of the time, if you are born into a religious family or a family who possess religious values then you are more likely to take on that religion/values. Like myself for example, born into a Christian family, if someone was to ask me what religion i was then the answer they would get would be Christian.

Infidelity
'Tales of Adultery'
Who from the extracts did you feel sorry for and why?
My opinion
My opinion
Having read all four extracts of the ‘Tales of adultery’ the only account, I feel any real sympathy for would be the electronic engineer Peter aged 41. The reason for me sympathising with Peter, is because of all the extracts I have read Peter is the only one that has not done anything wrong. Here we have man tempted, but has not yet actually committed act of betrayal. People may say for the simple fact he has contemplated an affair, Peter is wrong but in my eyes that is not the case. The majority of men think and or dream about sleeping with someone else even when their relationship in fine. Some people could argue that Claire Tooley a PR executive has done nothing wrong to a certain extent, they maybe right. But in my eyes she is guilty of neglect towards her husband and taking him for granted, therefore resulting in him having an affair.

Masturbation/ "Wankers"
Masturbation, what a taboo subject. As far as I've been concerned masterbating is ideal and i supose acceptable for men in prison serving a lengthy sentence. But for man who have their freedom, there should not be a need to masterbate, there are enough beautiful women in the world, and vice versa for the case of women. But in the real world, lets be honest a lot of man and woman masturbate, which is fine whatever keeps you happy keep doing it. You are not hurting no body, and thats the main thing.
After the lecture on masturbation, some of the instruments and obstacle used to prevent masturbation are a scary thought of imagination.
What do you think about masturbation?
Would you/ have you?
I supose if you can not get a partner, then self pleasure is your only option.

Smoking
Is smoking really being bad?
First of all it depends upon what’s being smoked, for example Cannabis can be smoked and is an illegal substance. Smoking an illegal substance is obviously being bad to some degree.

But as for general smoking, in my eyes smoking within the comfort of your own home is perfectly fine and up to the individual. Providing one is not smoking around young innocent and impressionable children, feel free to keep damaging your health.

Theft
Is shoplifting any different to any other kind of theft?
My feelings to this is "Yes" in the sense that shoplifting is theft from an organisation/company, rather than a person with feelings and emotions. Theft from an organisation leaves no emotional pain or mental suffering, however my comment there is not quite right, because a small company may leave the owner in some form of distress.
The bottom line is all forms of theft are wrong.
Why do people who can afford to buy things shoplift them instead?
I believe they do this because of the excitement factor involved, and the adrenaline rush.
How do you feel about theft?
Have you got the heart to rob from your neighbour? lol
Are people who can afford to buy things taking the piss when they rob?
Feel free to post any comment :-)

A response to Nemesis's comment - Nemesis said "I think your right about theft and that's it's wrong, but what if you have no money and the only way to survive is to steal. What do you do then? i guess if your a kid you would just shoplift for the fun or street cred but if your an adult eiher you have issues ( i may sound ignorant here) or you have no money to spend. Either way the line is very fuzzy"
My response - If people are fully on the poverty line. Then i guess they aint got no option, but to rob and steal.
