Theft

Is shoplifting any different to any other kind of theft?

My feelings to this is "Yes" in the sense that shoplifting is theft from an organisation/company, rather than a person with feelings and emotions. Theft from an organisation leaves no emotional pain or mental suffering, however my comment there is not quite right, because a small company may leave the owner in some form of distress.

The bottom line is all forms of theft are wrong.

Why do people who can afford to buy things shoplift them instead?

I believe they do this because of the excitement factor involved, and the adrenaline rush.

How do you feel about theft?
Have you got the heart to rob from your neighbour? lol
Are people who can afford to buy things taking the piss when they rob?

Feel free to post any comment :-)
A response to Nemesis's comment - Nemesis said "I think your right about theft and that's it's wrong, but what if you have no money and the only way to survive is to steal. What do you do then? i guess if your a kid you would just shoplift for the fun or street cred but if your an adult eiher you have issues ( i may sound ignorant here) or you have no money to spend. Either way the line is very fuzzy"
My response - If people are fully on the poverty line. Then i guess they aint got no option, but to rob and steal.

Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog page, if our field trip was to Kefalonia hopefully my time there would be as relaxing as possible, and it would be great if the return flight were to be cancelled and then i woud just have to stay there for a little wile longer... what a shame that would be lol!

On the topic of shoplifting, i have never shoplifted, as i am a good girl, but i can see why people who have no money steal, it is an essential part of their survival but i do not think that this is any means of justication for comitting the act of theft.
