Telling lies in any circumstance is not an ideal scenario, but when we talk about integrity this makes telling lies appear more acceptable and justified.
I do not believe there is anyone on the face of this earth, who has not told a lie whether for integrity or not.
Whats lies have you told?
Parents who tell lies to their children, about father christmas and the tooth fairy. Whats the problem there? To me there is none, as far as I'm concerned father christmas etc, is a part of life until grow up and learn for yourself.
